The History of Shepherds Ranch Premium Grass Fed Angus Beef
Shepherds Ranch Grassfed Angus Beef was established November 2004 as a test to determine the feasibility of producing grass fed Angus beef that would be lean, appetizing, free of growth hormones and antibiotics, and provide a nutritious and healthy alternative to commercially mass produced beef.
The results of this program have shown that not only is it possible to produce such a product, but it can be done in such a manner that enhances our community, improves the quality of the land used to produce the beef and improves the quality of life for both us and you.
The purpose of Shepherds Ranch Grassfed Angus Beef is to increase the availability of this healthy product to consumers at a price that is comparable to what they are used to paying at a standard grocery store while providing an experience similar to visiting the local butcher. Shepherd’s Ranch will function as the link between both the connoisseur and the average retail customer for a reliable souce of nutritious and healthy beef by providing packaged cuts of beef direct to the customer, thereby eliminating the “middleman” from the rancher to consumer chain and improving the quality and safety of their beef purchase.
